Thirty Minute Circuit Training



Thirty minute circuit training is quickly become one of the most effective, and also one of the most popular way to lose a few pounds. The thirty minute circuit training phenomenon has recently exploded and you will now find people doing the workout everywhere- at the gym, at home and even during their lunch break!

Thirty minute circuit training is a series of exercises, like cardio or weight lifting, that when combined makes an intense workout that will get the heart pumping and calories burning. Circuit training will improve both aerobic fitness and strength, thus making it a very useful conditioning method. Circuit training is an exercise that anyone can do no matter your level, and can be preformed with any amount of equipment that you have available to you.

A typical thirty minute circuit training session would include the following:

5 minutes: Warm Up with light walking and stretching.

5 minutes: Intense cardio exercise (running, speed-walking, or cycling) maintaining an RPE of 7-8.

7 minutes: Complete one circuit of each exercise below, doing each for 1 minute, no rest between exercises.

5 minutes: Intense cardio (jump roping, step aerobics, or kickboxing) maintaining an RPE of 8-9.

7 minutes: Complete another circuit of the exercises below, doing each for 1 minute, no rest between exercises.

5 minutes: Cool down and stretching.

Total Workout Time: 34 minutes

Thirty minute circuit training should be used with a change in diet to receive optimal results. Before starting any of these exercises, consult with a trainer to make sure that you are doing them properly. Doing the exercises wrong can cause you to strain muscles and pull muscles, and even tear ligaments and muscles.
