Along with low-fat food choices and portion control, the Program emphasizes the importance of tuning into physical/emotional eating cues and the pleasure of eating via our Client Journal, Menus and Manuals. By teaching clients to be mindful about what they eat, it also reassures them that all foods can be eaten in moderation.

An Active Lifestyle
The Program takes a lifestyle approach to exercise, encouraging clients to build up to thirty minutes of physical activity on most days through a combination of natural, planned and playful physical activities. Jenny Craig offers walking audiocassettes, a fitness video series, and other tools that encourage clients to engage in a variety of cardiorespiratory, resistance and stretching activities. Maintenance materials also address important variables such as lack of time, ongoing motivation and changing body image.

A Balanced Approach to Living
As weight issues are, in part, a reflection of a life "out of balance," the Program emphasizes cognitive and problem-solving strategies to support clients in managing their stress and emotions.

Q: What are the different Program Memberships that Jenny Craig offers?

A: We offer three Membership choices to meet your needs: The Platinum Membership, the Gold Membership, and the Trial Membership.

Q: Do you have a Maintenance Program?

A: At Jenny Craig our goal is to help you learn not only how to lose weight, but how to effectively maintain your weight loss as well. The Maintenance component of our Platinum Membership helps transition you from Jenny's Cuisine to planning your own Menus. During Maintenance Consultations, you are guided through the Maintenance Mastery Manual to help you "master" the skills essential for long-term success.

Q: Do you have an Adolescent Program?

A: In the United States, the Jenny Craig Program is available to adolescents 13-17 years old without health conditions and/or taking medications. The Program includes weekly One-on-One Consultations, weekly Menus, and program materials.

Q: What if I don't want to come into a Centre … or there's none in my area?

A: Our Jenny Direct At-Home Program allows you to participate in the Jenny Craig Program from the convenience of your own home. You enjoy weekly phone "meetings" with your trained Consultant, and order their Jenny's Cuisine in at least two-week increments. Many clients prefer to order their food in four-week increments.

Q: Do I have to buy your food?

A: By following the Jenny Craig Menus, you'll be practicing habits like portion control that are essential for healthy weight loss and successful weight management. As your comfort level grows, you'll begin planning your own menus. The ultimate goal of the program is to transition you from Jenny Craig Menus to planning your own Menus, so that you can learn to shop, cook and socialize with foods.
